(More customer reviews)I placed a pair of these in my '93 Chevy pickup. These lights are substantially better than the standard sealed beam halogen lamps. The light is whiter, and even though the wattage is matched, they certainly appear to be brighter. The other good news is that I am writing this review at least five years after these lights were installed; so at least for me, they are giving a decent service life with no noticeable deterioration of performance. If you'd like to be better able to see where you are going at night, you owe yourself a pair of these. The present price is actually a few bucks lower than what I originally paid, so they are a good value.
